from my bed or wheelchair,
I use the Swedish device
Gewa
Gewa is in principle a remote control that is easy to operate and with which I can control anything that is equipped with an infrared interface For example: the television, radio, light and even the bed. The
Gewa operates in basically in the same manner as the conventional
James II. Overall, it is even more compact and thus somewhat faster and it can be programmed on the computer. Simular to the lines of the
SiCare pilot
Fortunately,
the Swedes always
do things somewhat
differently .
Finally, the information
provided by the Swedes
inspired me to make this device
mobile. With velcro tape I secured the Gewa on
the armrest and the trigger mechanism on the head support. I now operate the Gewa in the wheelchair with the back of my head.=)
